Rose Ugoalah

A storyteller living and working in Dublin, Ireland. Rose has written for publications such as the Sunday Independent, Image magazine, and Totally Dublin, she also produced and hosted a live radio show on Liffey Sound FM. Rose is a first-class graduate of Trinity College Dublin’s Creative Writing M.Phil where she was awarded the Briena Staunton Writer’s Residency. 

Rose has received Irish Arts Council funding for literature and was awarded a writing residency with the University of the Notre Dame and the Irish Writers Centre. She was selected for the inaugural Storyhouse Lab with Element Pictures to workshop her film projects. Rose writes for continuing drama with RTÉ (Ireland’s national broadcaster) and she is an Assistant Lecturer in the School of Media at Technological University Dublin. Rose is a member of the Society of Authors, the Writer’s Guild of Ireland, and Women in Film and Television Ireland. She is currently writing her second book of fiction.
